Recently, Rush Media & Events had the joy of designing a unique football-themed baby shower at the stunning Blackbird Commons in Dwight, Illinois. With its modern charm, inviting atmosphere, and picture-perfect details, this venue set the stage for a shower filled with love, laughter, and elegant touches.
Working one-on-one with the grandmother-to-be, we crafted a vision that her daughters (the mom-to-be’s sisters) brought to life beautifully. The result? A surprise celebration filled with thoughtful details: an eye-catching welcome sign, a towering 7-foot Chiara arch, and a lush 9-foot balloon garland that set the perfect backdrop for photos and memories. The theme—Tiny Toes & Touchdowns—blended elegance with a playful nod to football, creating a one-of-a-kind event.
And let’s not forget Blackbird Commons itself—its aesthetic kitchen design is so stunning, you’ll want to do the dishes just for the experience. Every corner of the venue elevated the shower, making it the perfect choice for bridal showers, luncheons, and beyond.
